Thoughts about …

THE MILKBAR AKA. BREASTFEEDING

For me it means not only nurturing my baby with food aka. GOLDEN MILK but also with LOVE, COMFORT and SECURITY.
Back in the days it was life saving and for most mothers at this planet it´s the cheapest and easiest way to feed their babies.
It´s a connection thing between mother and child and should be treat as normal (also in public places).
Also there should be no judgment in not breastfeeding your child (for various reasons) also as how long you will breastfeed your kid or breastfeeding your baby to sleep.

It´s not always easy (for me milk oversupply and hours of sucking on my titty to find into sleep).
Stay soft and strong.

DO IT YOUR WAY but never forget YOU CAN`T PAMPER A BABY!

co-sleeping

(rocking, carrying, breastfeeding baby into sleep)

First: Finding into sleep is not every time an easy thing (we all know).
3 conditions must be given: TIREDNESS, RELAXATION and CO-DETERMINATION (babies will be tired in waves, every 50 minutes a baby slides from an active in an calm stage).
RELAXATION
could be given if all needs of the baby are satisfied. They are sleepy, filled, feel secure, Rhythmical movement/rocking/carry your baby could work wonders.
Evolutionary biologically babies need the presence of one of their parents or other familiar adults. Without the protection it was the secure way to death in the early days. Sabre-toothed tiger, lions and bears would have been eaten the baby who lays on the ground and slept. But now they are safe right? But babies today don´t know that, they could not feel that they are in a safe place.

So our babies are not meant to be independent sleeper, it´s not innated to learn how to fall asleep.
They need help and thats totally fine.

Also is child/baby sleep a cultural and lifestyle thing
In Bali they say their is an risk for a baby who sleep alone that their soul could be stolen.
Yes co-sleeping is not for everyone, but at least ask yourself: Do you want to sleep alone?
